May 16-18, 2014!
New for 2014
Such a kind form of communication and celebration. The grand drumming circle experience includes professional facilitator and performer Michael Wingfield and every one from the community is invited to join in. No experience necessary, all ages and talent levels invited. We love this concept because the participants make up the music as they go along, using their listening and playing skills to make musical connections and express themselves any way they like. Participation is voluntary, impromptu and often includes drumming, singing or chanting, dancing and listening.

How much fun was last year's concert?!
2014 will continue the tradition of a live, free concert in the park. Everyone has so much fun last year, kids, adults, picnics on the grass, dancing under the stars...
Don't worry about rain. We reserved a rain-location at Theatre in the Wood, just in case we are blessed with rain that evening.
Festival at a Glance
ALL EVENTS ARE FREE! The weekend begins Friday evening with the Candles of Hope fundraiser labyrinth. We will gather under the Kindness tent in Schouler Park for a ceremony including poetry, prayer and songs, we will have three guest speakers give very brief talks about hope, each from a different perspective. Candles are available for a $20 donation. Following the ceremony, you are invited to stroll the labyrinth sponsored by
I am Grateful to You, and place your candle. All funds go to visiting nurses.
Saturday morning, gather in N. Conway Village for inspiration and collect the tools of the kindness trade before fanning out to the community to commit all sorts of kindness on unsuspecting strangers. So don’t be surprised if a stranger hands you a smiley face balloon, pumps your gas or pays for your coffee while you’re standing in line.
Participants will come back with amazing stories as the result of the simplest acts. We’ll gather at noon under the tent to hear some of the morning’s stories. Flatbread Co. pizza and healthy options from the local chapter of Slow Food will be available for donations. Throughout the day, the labyrinth will be open, and we'll enjoy free massages, free blood pressure screenings by the visiting nurses, a 150 foot canvas of kind art, free crafts for the kids, hugs from the White Mountain Community Health Center Teen Clinic, and more kind fun in the park. From 10am-2pm, there will be many events going on in the park from adoptable animals, to music, to yoga - please see the full event schedule. Also from 10am - 2pm Saturday, the White Mountain Waldorf School is running their amazing annual May Faire event next door at the N. Conway Community Center!
